Minor League 9/10  -  (Player pitch)

- Player age is 10 year olds as of August 31 in the calendar year played for the season

- Player age is 9 year olds as of August 31 in the calendar year played (See little league rules under the Coaches Corner tab on the home page for further detailed information)

- No Registration FEE for SPring play

- Player pitch with Little League pitch count rules governing

- Approximatley 12-14 regular season games played on weeknights

- Plus opening day games plus top (4) team playoff for division championship at end of season

- Score is kept as well as stats and standings by league provided scorekeeper for each game

- (2) umpires per game provided

- Each player receives a jersey and team hat

- Teams are formed by player draft following a tryout/evaluation with a returning roster format

- Typically 14 teams of 12 players or less per team make up the Minor League division

- Minor League games are normally played on Fields #10 & #11 at 46/60 (46' pitching/60' base paths)

 

 

 

 

 

- All players in all divisions are required to wear batting helmets with face masks.  No player at any time while batting, on deck batting area, or base running is allowed to wear a helmet without a mask

- Minor 9/10 participates under the Little League Sanction

- Minor 9/10 division is made up of an American and National sub divisions. 

- Minor 9/10 division does select two AllStar teams to represent Lebanon in Little League Tournament play 

- All Minor 9/10 players are eligible to tryout in August of each year for the Firebird Travel program after the league season  (more Firebird info can be found under the LYB Travel Select tab)
